This tiered fountain uses recycled water and when filled and turned on, water flows up through a small tube through tiny holes and trickles down over the rock formation like in a spring. And it gives off a very tranquil sounds. Just listen, you can hear the water flow. A set of polished stones from a stream comes with and when placed in various places on the tiered rock, it creates a different sound.The base is made of pressed molded plastic and has 3 legs and a well to catch the water and circulate it. The whole section of the rock comes off for easy cleaning and reveals the tube . The rock formation is made of a harder acrylic material with a real feel and texture and colored to look natural. It measures at base: 11″ wide across at widest part and 2 1/2″ tall including legs.
