Set of 5 China Bowls from the 40’s & 50’s

1) Old China bowl – 40’s. Stamp on back “Homer Laughlin, Made in USA #B40N8. Has chips and cracks from age. Has butterscotch colored rim and picture painted on of garden wall and wood fence. Measures 9″ wide across, 2” deep. 2) Old vintage cereal bowl – White china w/ cobalt blue trim and gold leaf print in edging. 50’s and has Shenango China, Newcastle, Pa. w/a Native American Indian pictured, stamped on back. It measures 5 3/4″ wide across and 1 1/2″ deep. 3) China oval serving Bowl – 40’s, measures 9 1/2″ L X 7 1/8″ W and 2″ deep. White with a flower design at either end of the bowl. It has a symbol stamped on the back: Large M & C intertwined w/a small capital P at top and a small C w/ circle inside on bottom and the #1030B. Edging is faded with fine cobalt blue line around the flower pattern. 4) Vintage Serving bowl – 40’s, No marking on back. White w/a wide maroon rim that looks verigated and has a green flowery print in the center. It measures 4 1/4″ wide across and is 2 1/2″ deep. It is faded and has a crack and chips. 5) Shallow china pie plate – 40’s, No markings on back. This plate is an off white with a pearlized glaze. It has scalloped design on edging. A muted flower print in center of plate. Measurements are: 7 1/2″ wide across and 1 1/2″ deep. There are tiny web-like surface cracking in the glaze throughout plate.
