This is an unusual medallion neckpiece. An authentic Bohemian coin. Bohemia which is now part of the Czech Republic after the war. It is mounted in a textured14K gold setting that is scalloped shaped (like a 4 leaf clover) with diamond accents in between each scallop. Each diamond is 1.10 mm round. The medallion itself measures across top to top of each scallop 1″ X 1″. It is stamped with 14K and Israel on the back of the bail that hangs the medallion on the chain. The coin measures 1/2″ round. The front of the coin shows a relief of the king and a large “B” on the right side of the coin. On the backside is stamped the royal king’s crest. The coin itself is made of a pewter looking type of metal, possibly oxidized nickel with copper. No date was found on the coin. The attached 14K gold twist chain is 20″ long that can be worn with or without the medallion. The stamp on the clasp of the chain is stamped 14K Italy. The chain alone weighs 2.20 grams. Please note, that the chain has a few kinks in it, as shown in the photos. This set is in very good condition and well taken care of.
