The first one is a solid piece of feathers formed in almost a circle with fringes of different shades of brown feathers making a beautiful pattern. It has wisps of feathers on either side as well. At both ends are light blue satin ribbon wraps to tie around the base of a  western-style hat.  It is over 29″ in total length, and 4″ wide at widest part.  The second one is a wrap around with a light blue satin ribbon in between the longer, narrow feather piece (the tail) and the Wider, triangular feather piece (the head). Beautiful variegated pattern on both pieces with the different shades of brown feathers. The tail measures 12 1/2″ long by 3″ wide. The head is 5″ wide at widest part by 6″ long. Total length of this hatband is 40″
