This set of Bavarian porcelain china came from Bavaria, Germany from the 1970’s. The complete set includes” Coffee/Tea pot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, cream server, 6 dessert plates, 6 cups and 6 saucers. (23 pieces in all.) They are all white porcelain with roses in center, rose buds w/ leaves scattered around borders. The texture of the service is a subtle rippled/ribbed pattern throughout on the serving pieces and the borders of the plates and saucers. The all are stamped on the bottoms with: Petzmann, Weidew, Bavaria, W. Germany #6 Qualitats – PORZELLAN with an image of a crown at the top. Measurements are: The pot – is 7 1/2″ tall and 8″ long including handle and spout. It is 5″ wide across at the base. Dessert plates are 7 3/4″ wide across, the cups are 3 1/2″ wide across top and 2 1/4″ deep. Saucers are 5 1/2″ wide across, creamer is 3 1/2″ wide across and 4″ tall. Finally the sugar bowl w/ lid is 3″ long by 2 1/2″ wide and 2 1/4″ deep. A beautifully elegant set. In excellent condition.
